AI generation consent

FIGURO uses AI to generate figure previews and 3D data from the photo you upload. Please agree to the following before using the service.

1. How generation works

Your photo is converted by generative AI into a stylized (anime, chibi, big-head caricature, realistic) preview image and 3D data. Results vary with the quality, angle and lighting of the original photo and the style you choose.

2. Sending to external AI services

To process generation, images may be sent to external generative-AI and 3D services. Handling follows our Privacy Policy (providers and countries are listed in section 5 of that policy). We never provide your photos to anyone for AI training.

3. Rights and consent

• Photos you upload must be of yourself, or a person who has consented to being made into a figure only.
• We cannot make figures of third parties, public figures, or existing characters without the rights holder's permission.
• You warrant that you hold the necessary rights and consent to use the photo.
• Photos of characters, cosplay or logos, and AI customizations that name characters or brands, are not accepted. Uploaded photos are checked automatically by AI; anything other than one real person or one pet (existing characters, several people or animals, inappropriate content, etc.) is declined before a preview is made. Your own original illustration, avatar or figurine is accepted once you confirm it is original, and our team checks it before production. Instructions that include character or brand names are declined before they reach the AI.
• Generative AI can produce something resembling an existing character even without being asked. We instruct the AI not to draw existing characters or logos, and a person checks at the preview stage and again at the 3D check before printing.
• Reports of rights infringement are handled promptly at info@figuro.jp (Terms, Article 14).

4. Production only after approval

Production begins only after you review and approve the generated 3D data. Previews before approval are free.

5. Use of generated content

We may use generated content internally to improve quality and the service, but we will not use your photos or generated content in advertising without permission. If we'd like to, we'll ask for your separate consent.
