What's new at FIGURO (October 2026): 3D check before printing, unpainted figures, couple and family orders and more
Over the past month we added several new features and pages to FIGURO. Most of them answer the two questions we hear most: "Will it really look like my photo?" and "Which one should I give as a gift?" Here is everything in one place.
1. Approve the 3D model before we print
After you order, we send you the figure's 3D model (four views plus a 360° turn). We only start printing after your OK, so there is far less risk of a figure arriving that isn't what you expected.
If anything bothers you, one change is free. This promise is now shown right where you place your order.
2. See the AI design next to the real figure
The order step now shows AI design images side by side with the same designs actually printed (our samples and display pieces). Swipe sideways for three examples: a grandmother, a Shiba dog and a young football player.
Each one was printed and finished by hand in our own studio in Fukuoka. You can see more of the real figures in our RAMEN TECH 2026 event report.
3. Email a design to yourself
Made a design you like but not ready to decide? Want to show your family first? You can now send the design to yourself with just your email address, right from the preview screen. No account needed.
The email has the design image and a link that takes you straight to ordering it, whenever you are ready.
4. Unpainted figures and a painting guide
The unpainted figure, which you paint yourself, is now easier to find. It starts at ¥6,980 (tax included) for the smallest size.

5. Couple, wedding, family and pet pages
New pages for special orders with two or more people, or a pet, on one base:
- Couple figures: preview a pair figure from your photo for free
- Wedding: for the welcome table or as a wedding gift
- Family figures
- Figures with your pet
Each page shows guide prices (for example, two people on one base from ¥29,800 at 12 cm). We send a free quote with the final price after seeing your photo and wishes.
The enquiry form now also asks which style you prefer: anime, chibi, realistic or big head. Before quoting, we make a concept image in that style for you.
6. Gift guides
Our gift pages now cover ten occasions: Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Respect for the Aged Day, 60th birthday (kanreki), wedding anniversaries, birthdays, Shichi-Go-San, graduation and farewell, and retirement. Each one explains how to choose and suggests words to engrave on the base.
7. All prices on one page
Full-colour and unpainted prices for every size are now on the pricing page. Name engraving on the base is ¥1,000.
8. Your first credits for ¥300
The first credit pack for making AI previews (20 credits) is ¥300 on your first purchase (normally ¥600). Once per account, until 31 December 2026.
9. Peace of mind after you order
- If the tracking number changes after shipping, we email you.
- The shipping email now includes a link to your receipt.
- You can send us your thoughts on the figure straight from the delivery email. We use what you tell us to improve FIGURO.
